Taking place in a real place with fictional storylines, details about Number 10 have been released – here’s what we know:

It seems as though we can expect a UK equivalent of West Wing to come to our screens with the announcement of this latest project for Channel 4. With successes such as The Thick of It and Yes, (Prime)Minister becoming hit properties thanks to their satirical twist on current events, it looks like the latest iteration of political fiction will be leaning more into the dramatics of life behind the iconic door.

What’s Number 10 about?

Taking place in the UK’s most well-known address, this series will peel back the front door and look into the goings-on with a fabricated repertoire of characters. Using the setting of a place full of professional and personal aspirations tying themselves in knots, we meet our cast as a lot of issues hit the fan at once and they have to work out how to keep the country, and themselves, together.

Who’s in it?

The current announcement lists Rafe Spall (Trying), Katherine Kelly (In Flight) and Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) as cast.
