The adaptation of the popular novel is underway, with names starting to get attached to One Italian Summer:

The heatwave may be over, but there’s still fun to be had in the sun as the bestseller continues production. The latest news about the feature adaptation reveals who will be bringing it to life.

What’s One Italian Summer about?

Originally written by Rebecca Serle, the plot of the novel follows a mother and daughter rekindling their bond. Taking place against the Mediterranean backdrop of the Amalfi Coast, a life-changing loss pushes a young woman into the opportunity to find a new perspective on the tested relationship between herself and her mother.

Who’s in it?

The currently announced cast includes Brie Larson (Room), with more cast members to be announced as production continues. Harry Bradbeer (Enola Holmes) is spearheading the production.

When’s it out?

The film is set to hit theatres on the 12th May 2028.
