A first look image has been released to tantalise the keen crowds of fans for the new era of Peaky Blinders – here’s what we know:

The series (and consequential film) have been a hit across the UK as well as the globe. What’s the next series of Peaky Blinders about?

After being dragged through the horrors of war on both the home front and behind enemy lines, Charles Shelby is now thrust back into the almost unchanged world of normality. However, he is still experiencing the tremors of trauma and is desperate to move on from everything. He’s cut off his connection to the Shelby’s but he’s haunted by the idea that a part of them lives on with him.

Who’s in it?

The new series will star Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Jamie Bell (All of Us Strangers), Jessica Brown Findlay (Silo), Lashana Lynch (The Day of The Jackal) and Lucy Karczewski (Stereophonic).

When’s it out?

No release date has been announced as filming is still underway.
