Channel 4 has announced a new action thriller series, produced by Clerkenwell Films.
A five-part series about a group of Welsh climbers encountering a far-right group plotting something in their local mountains has been announced by Channel 4. Deadpoint will be produced by Clerkenwell films, the production company behind Baby Reindeer, End of the F***ing World and Misfits.

Callum Scott Howells (It’s a Sin), Annes Elwy (Little Women), Michael Socha (Showtrial), Christine Tremarco (Adolescence), Gary Lewis (A Thousand Blows), John Bradley (Game of Thrones), Sam Keeley (Kin), Martin McCann (Hostage), Fflyn Edwards (The Crown), Emily Scott (Riot Women), Ellora Torchia (Midsommar), Gwylim Lee (The Great), Michael Jibson (Bodies), Crystal Condie (Dear England), Siôn Alun Davies (Steeltown Murders), Oliver Finnegan (Outlander), Rhodri Meilir (In My Skin) and Arthur Hughes (The Jetty) have all been confirmed to star in Deadpoint.
Who’s behind it?
Deadpoint will be creator’s Matt Hartley debut role as a writer. Marco Kreuzpaintner (Bodies) has been announced as lead director, with Laura Scrivano (The Lazarus Project) also being announced as a director. Andy Baker (End of the F***ing World ), Charlie Langdell (Cheaters), Wim de Greef (Baby Reindeer), Petra Fried (Baby Reindeer), Matt Hartley and Marco Kreuzpaintner have been announced as executive producers. Producer Adam Knopf (The Lazarus Project) will work with co-producer Christopher J. Thomas (Doctor Who).
When will it be released?
No release date has been confirmed yet, but filming has begun in Wales.
