Weekend ratings round-up: ‘Mr Selfridge’ continues to outsell opposition with 6m

6m viewers tuned into the period drama, which also registered a 23.3% audience share.

The heavyweight of Sunday night viewing, however, continues to be Call the Midwife which slipped ever so slightly to 8.8m (30.2%) viewers for the latest episode. Also on BBC One, Blandings rumbles on with 4m (16.3%).

Friday night’s Silent Witness finale was approximately 200k viewers down on the night before with 4.9m (21.4%) while the-unlikely to-return Great Night Out could only muster 3.2m (14.1%) viewers for ITV.
