BBC One has announced that the remaining episodes of Atlantis will begin airing later this month.
The first half of the fantasy drama’s second season aired in November and December last year, before taking a mid-season break. It was revealed in January that a third season would not be commissioned.
Atlantis will resume at 7.45pm on Saturday 11 April on BBC One.
In the seventh episode of Season 2, when news reaches Pasiphae of Ariadne and Jason’s impending marriage, she is terrified that Atlantis will be lost to her forever, and resolves to do all she can to stop the union, no matter the cost.
But Pasiphae’s pursuit of power has far-reaching and devastating consequences, and as the battle for Atlantis continues, it seems none is immune to her touch.
