Ripper Street will return to BBC One later this month.

The period crime drama’s third season begins at 9pm on Friday 31 July on BBC One.

‘Whitechapel Terminus’ sees two trains collide on the newly constructed bridge above Leman Street; a catastrophe which falls into Reid’s world and demands explanation.

Starring Matthew Macfadyen as Detective Inspector Reid, Jerome Flynn as the newly promoted Detective Inspector Bennet Drake, Adam Rothenberg as Captain Homer Jackson and MyAnna Buring as Long Susan, Season 3 premiered last year on Amazon Prime Instant Video.
