Birds of a Feather will return to ITV on Boxing Day for a Christmas special ahead of the new season.
The sitcom originally ran for nine series between 1989 and 1998 on BBC One, relaunching on ITV in January this year with audiences of up to 9.5 million.
Airing at 9pm on Friday 26 December, ‘Birds On A Plane’ sees Dorien treat Sharon and Tracey to a Christmas trip to the Canaries.
The remaining seven episodes of the new season will air on Thursday nights from 1 January.
The original cast of Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph are all back as Sharon Theodopolopodous, Tracey Stubbs and Dorien Green, alongside Charlie Quirke as Travis Stubbs.
However, Samuel James has taken over the role of Garth Stubbs, replacing Busted’s Matt Willis.
