Series 10 of the revived sitcom begins at 8.30pm on Thursday 2 January on ITV with ‘Gimme Shelter’, which sees Sharon living back in her council flat and Tracey still in Chigwell with younger son Travis… but what’s become of Dorien? What can bring the Birds back together? And who else might return to the nest?

The eight new episodes will star Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson as sisters Sharon and Tracey, alongside Lesley Joseph as neighbour Dorien and Busted star Matt Willis as Tracey’s son, Garth ‘Garthy’ Stubbs.
