The new season of Bones will begin in the UK next month.

The long-running US crime drama returns to Sky Living for a 22-part tenth season at 9pm on Wednesday 14 January with ‘The Conspiracy in the Corpse’.

Picking up three months after the shocking events of Season 9’s finale, FBI special agent Seeley Booth languishes in prison, having being wrongly charged with the murder of three colleagues. Surrounded by many unwelcoming cons he helped put away, Booth tries to keep his spirits up, while his wife, Brennan, and the team at the Jeffersonian Institute work tirelessly to absolve him of the crimes he didn’t commit and prove there’s a government conspiracy at work.

Brennan also has a plan up her sleeve to get Booth released, angering him when she makes a risky move and tarnishes their reunion. The wrongly-accused agent finds life on the outside almost as tricky as being in jail as he struggles to know who to trust and comes up against a tough new FBI director. Sweets and Daisy soon lift the mood when they announce they’re going to have a baby. However, joy doesn’t linger for long when tragedy strikes the heart of the team and they face their greatest challenge to date.
