BBC One’s daytime drama series Moving On returns next week with five new standalone stories set in and around Liverpool.

Created by writer Jimmy McGovern, the seventh season begins at 2.15pm on Monday 22 February on BBC One.

The first episode, ‘Taxi For Linda’ follows Linda (Julie Hesmondhalgh) and Frank (John Thompson), colleagues and confidantes working at the same taxi rank. And that’s all they are…at least as far as Linda is concerned. Frank, on the other hand, could not love Linda more. But he can’t tell her. Well, he could but he can never find the courage. Every time he tries, the words get stuck in his mouth and when driver Terry (Shane Richie) turns up he seems to have missed the moment.

As Terry and Linda begin a relationship, Frank is left on his own. Linda thinks the world of Terry but in Frank’s opinion something isn’t right about him. Perhaps this is just a bit of jealousy? But Frank finds out that Terry has been spending a long time ‘dropping off’ certain customers. When he confronts him he discovers something much worse.
