The second half of the new season of US conspiracy thriller The Blacklist will begin in the UK later this month.

James Spader returns as master criminal Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington at 9pm on Friday 27 February on Sky Living with ‘Luther Braxton’.

Just before the mid-season break, the last twisting and bloody episode shockingly revealed that Tom was alive and had been secretly working with criminal mastermind Red. Aside from further throwing Red’s puzzling association with rookie FBI agent Liz Keen (Megan Boone) into question, it also saw the deaths of Berlin and Fitch, the latter of whom left behind a mysterious safe somewhere in St Petersburg.

As Season 2 returns, Red is captured by criminal agents and taken to a secret detention facility where he encounters Luther Braxton (Ron Perlman), a thief who shares a complicated history with him. Desperate that Red doesn’t disappear forever, Liz mounts a taskforce to save him. Can they break him out?
