A mannequin with a wig on it, a still form the trailer of Still life

Still Life – trailer released

Posted Filed under

A creative project starring a familiar face has turned some heads with the recent release of its trailer, here’s what we know about Still Life:

A short film trailer has been making waves recently thanks to the cast and unique premise. From creative Oliver Hill (Mickey 17) and a soundtrack by Steven Price (Gravity), the spirit of independent filmmaking is being kept alive through the very interesting small-scale production.

What’s Still Life about?

In a similar vein to Bunny and the Bull and Lars and the Real Girl, this film follows an isolated agoraphobic man. He leaves his house to work his dead-end retail job and comes home to a house full of familiar faces. He lives with a dozen dressed-up mannequins. When a flesh-and-blood, slightly odd, woman shows up on his doorstep, the world he so carefully built around himself begins to wobble out of balance.

Who’s in it?

The popularity of this project has been down to both the talent behind and in front of the camera. Hill and Price have both worked on House of the Dragon, where we can also find the protagonist cast member, Ewan Mitchell. He’ll be starring alongside Saura Lightfoot-Leon (The Agency).

When’s it out?

There’s no specified release date for the project on the trailer, which you can watch here.
