Netflix has revealed Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 will arrive in April

Stranger Things may have come to an end, but fear ye not, animated spin-off Tales from ’85 from showrunner Eric Robles and Stranger Things co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer is on the way. The series, set in the Stranger Things universe between Seasons 2 and 3, will debut on April 23. The series features characters fans already know and love — but with a twist.

What do we know about Tales from ’85

From the press release, we learn:

The year is 1985, it’s a freezing winter in Hawkins, and our heroes are about to embark on an epic journey where “the original characters must fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorising their town.”

The cast consists of: Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven; Jolie Hoang-Rappaport (In Your Dreams) as Max; Luca Diaz as Mike; Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas; Braxton Quinney as Dustin; Benjamin Plessala as Will; Brett Gipson as Hopper; Jeremy Jordan as Steve. Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo, and Lou Diamond Phillips are also joining the Hawkins adventure.
