Channel 4 has revealed the Taskmaster series 21 contestants — here’s who’s coming to the show

The mighty Taskmaster continues to entertain and now we have the names of the series 21 contestants. No details of when the show will appear, but we expect more news soon. The names were revealed after the New Year’s Treat concluded.

Who is in Taskmaster series 21

Facing Greg Davies and hoping to survive Alex Horne’s tasks are: Amy Gledhill (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2024), Armando Iannucci (The Thick of It), Joanna Page (Gavin & Stacey), Joel Dommett (The Masked Singer) and Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick). According to the British Comedy Guide, the ten-part  has already been filmed, and will include the show’s 200th episode. Last year we had to wait until May for series 19, hopefully the wait is shorter this time round.

The most recent of series 20 was Maisie Adam who won after a three-way tie between herself, Ania Magliano and Phil Ellis. The winner will (we assume) be eligible for any future Champion of Champions show (which we expect would cover series 21 but also not yet announced series 22-24). The most recent winner of that was Matthew Baynton.
