The popular podcast series is now bound for the screen, with brand new updates coming out about who’s in The Black Tapes:
The hit horror podcast series from 2015 is getting a new lease of life as MGM+ develops it into an eight-part series. The newest release of information reveals some names attached to the project.
What’s The Black Tapes about?
Hailing from the story originally told over audio created by Terry Miles and Paul Bae, the series will follow a brilliant psychiatrist with a past obscured by mystery. He finds himself working with an enthusiastic scientist as they both work on debunking paranormal cases found in the series’ namesake. They navigate their way through possessions, hauntings, disappearances and sightings of unknowable fears. The more they try and find the truth, the deeper the pair find themselves in the world of the strange and the occult, and it seems as though their quest to disprove these events may actually be in vain. Miles and Bae will write the series alongside John Rogers (Leverage).
Who’s in it?
Currently attached to play the lead is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (King and Conqueror).
