The trailer for season two of action-packed series A Thousand Blows has been released, here’s what we know so far.

Following the critically acclaimed success of the first season of the thrilling story of A Thousand Blows, anticipation has been building for what’s next in store. The trailer for the second season has been released, here’s the latest:

What’s it about?

The story inspired by captivating true events continues, joining our cast of characters a year later in grisly 1880’s East London. Leading characters are shells of their former selves, facing problems such as being pushed away from their family and battling alcoholism. The women remain to be a force to be reckoned with, bursting back onto the scene and elevating the battle for power over the organisations of the East, entangling themselves in violence and struggle once again.

Who’s in it?

The returning cast includes Malachi Kirby (Small Axe), Stephen Graham (Adolescence), Erin Doherty (The Crown), James Nelson-Joyce (This City Is Ours), Darci Shaw (Midas Man), Hannah Walters (Boiling Point), Nadia Albina (Doctors), Morgan Hilaire, Jemma Carlton (Maxine), Caoilfhionn Dunne (Saint Maude), Jason Tobin (Warrior), Susan Lynch (Beautiful Creatures), Daniel Mays (The Thursday Murder Club), Gary Lewis (Outlander), Aliyah Odoffin (The Strays), and Robert Glenister (Hustle). Ned Dennehy (Guns Akimbo) and Catherine McCormack (Braveheart) will be joining the ensemble for season two.
