Inspired by her series of novels, Marian Keyes (Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married) has had her stories adapted for the screen. The Walsh Sisters follows a band of chaotic sisters navigating the peaks and troughs of young(ish) adulthood in Dublin. The stories will tackle topics such as heartbreak, grief, addiction, parenthood and power ballads.

Who’s behind it?

The series will be executive produced by Keyes, with Stefanie Preissner being credited for writing four of the six episodes. The remaining two episodes have been written by Kefi Chadwick (Death in Paridise). Ian FitzGibbon (Hullraisers) has been announced as the director for all of the sixty-minute episodes.
