The Bodyguard, based on Whitney Houston’s 1992 movie, is now winner of Best New Musical at the WhatsOnStage.com Awards 2013.

The romantic thriller is currently showing at the Adelphi Theatre in London, starring Tristan Gemmill (Casualty) and singer Beverley Knight.Former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer, is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an unknown stalker. Each expects to be in charge – what they don’t expect is to fall in love.
