E4 has released a second trailer for Glue, featuring the first clips from The Fades creator Jack Thorne’s new thriller.
The eight-part series begins on E4 next month.
Glue‘s official synopsis reads: “Overton. A tiny village in the English countryside. Farming is its bread-and-butter. Race-horses are its beating heart. But beyond the rolling hills and behind the stable doors lies a green and not-so-pleasant land… When the body of a local teenage boy is found underneath the wheels of a tractor, the villagers in this remote community – his friends – are forced to open up their world and watch their secrets spill out. Secrets that will change their particular brand of country life forever.”

Writer Jack Thorne (This is England, Skins) teased: “I grew up in Newbury and was constantly fascinated by life around the stables. In an age where the British countryside feels like its rotting through disrepair and no-one cares, we want to tell a story about ambition, hope, darkness and anarchy.”
The song in the trailer is ‘Hunger of the Pine’ by alt-J.
