Sky Atlantic has released the first trailer for Mr Sloane, the channel’s new comedy series from Curb Your Enthusiasm producer Robert B. Weide.

Written and directed by Weide, the six-part “bittersweet romantic comedy” stars Nick Frost (Spaced, Hot Fuzz) as Jeremy Sloane, “a button-down 1960’s man in crisis”.

The official synopsis reads: “Between his failed attempts at marriage, career success and even suicide, 1969 isn’t shaping up to be Watford-dweller Mr. Sloane’s year. But with a potential job opportunity on the horizon and the phone number of a prospective new love interest, could Mr Sloane’s luck be about to change?”

Mr Sloane begins soon on Sky Atlantic.
