Set in New Orleans on Mardi Gras day, Stolen also stars Josh Lucas (Hulk), Danny Huston (Hitchcock), Malin Akerman (Watchmen), Mark Valley (Body of Proof) and M.C. Gainey (Django Unchained).
The action-packed thriller is released in UK cinemas on Friday 22 March and sees Cage working with British director Simon West again, having previously teamed up for the pair’s ’90s classic, Con Air.
West teased: “This film is technically a heist movie, actually a relationship movie, and it’s really ab out the characters and how they interact: Even though it’s got all the pyrotechnics and the roller coaster ride of an action movie.”
Cage revealed: “I would say yes to Simon West on almost anything because I feel one of the best directors I’ve ever worked with, and I had a great experience working with him on Con Air. He’s a gentleman and he’s an artist and he knows what he wants. He’s supremely confident, he comes in and he sculpts, and then you have a new way of looking at the scene.”
