Wednesday still topping the Netflix audience top 10 for the week
Last week’s domination of the Top 10 by the first tranche of Wednesday season 2 was no real surprise, and this week’s numbers from Netflix still show both seasons doing strongly. Remember also this is the first week with a full seven days viewing — inevitably the first week had a midweek (Wednesday!) release.

So, while still making the #1 spot, the show has actually had a large drop-off in audience. This helps estimate the hardcore fanbase who (presumably) watched as early as possible (as we did!) With a two week’s total of just under 80 million, it’s still shy of the 94.8 million needed to knock Stranger Things season 3 out of the all time chart, but we suspect it may happen as early as next week.
There’s also a second tranche to come. Even if that only provides a proportion of the audience the first did, then this season will easily make the top 5, and keep climbing.
