It’s the most incident packed episode of the season so far, and several characters have the rug completely pulled out from beneath them, in ways surprising to both them and the audience.

It’s also at times harrowingly grim, and an episode in which the support characters often shine brighter than our main heroes; scenes with slippery Varys, spiky Lady Olenna and gruff Sandor Clegane are the ones that stick in the memory. At least, that is, until a climax that’s so dynamic and rousing that it’ll have you out of your seat, punching the air with excitement about what’s to come next!
