That’s not to say that it’s all doom and gloom – there’s still humour to be had, in two wonderfully silent scenes, full of weighted stares and knowing looks, and, later, as a result of one sub-plot in particular. We’re also presented with another brilliantly-staged action sequence, and are even treated to what appears to be a rare happy ending for one minor character! But, of course, this is Game of Thrones, and for every small victory in one part of the world, there’s sure to be a major loss suffered in another…
