E4’s new murder-mystery drama Glue continues next week.

Suspicions are running high after the discovery of Cal’s body. Cal’s friends – Rob, James, Tina, Janine and Annie – are questioned by the police about what happened on the night of the murder – or at least what they can recall of it.

Episode 2 airs at 10pm on Monday 22 September on BBC One. Here are 10 spoiler-free lines of dialogue from the episode…

 

‘I’d hug you both but you’ve got shit on you. And blood. Good to be home!”

‘I’m never going to trust you, Ruth.’

‘Your answer-phone’s beeping. My cock’s beeping. These are both signals we should listen to.’

‘Rob, what are you mixed up in?’

‘I tried running. Turns out I wasn’t very good at it.’

‘You lived in the village all your life, you know those people. Use that, Ruth.’

‘Are you not the slightest bit concerned that we could be the slightest bit fucked?’

‘James, this place is poison.’

‘Excuse me, I’ve got shit to spread.’
