PDS (Partially Deceased Syndrome) sufferer Kieren Walker continues his struggle to find acceptance in the second series of BBC Three’s zombie drama In the Flesh next month.
We’re re-united with Kieren Walker in the now seemingly PDS-friendly world of Roarton. Our hero is keeping his head down, working soul-destroying shifts in the Legion pub and squirrelling money into his ‘escape fund.’ Only problem is, he can’t escape himself.
Series 2’s opening ep airs at 10pm on Sunday 4 May on BBC Three. To whet your appetite, here are some teasing lines of dialogue from the episode…
– ‘Excuse me… you’re sitting on my grave.’
– ‘We are the first and the last! We are those that liveth and were dead! And behold, we are alive forever more and have the keys to Hell and death in our hands!’
– ‘Never gonna happen. A living/dead relationship in Roarton valley?’
– ‘Shoot it! Shoot the Rotter!’
– ‘I can’t put a bullet through my mock exams, unfortunately.’
– ‘You can say what you like about Roarton lad, but boring it wasn’t!’
– ‘Why should he have to move? He was born, bred, and died here.’
– ‘Male Rabid, caught intact, that’s £80.’
– ‘You’re more than gorgeous, you’re moregeous.’
– ‘When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty.’
