To whet your appetite, here are ten teasing lines of dialogue from the episode…

» ‘Sit there, and think about how lucky you are to be here.’

» ‘Your door has a lock, doesn’t it?’

» ‘I thought we were standing together!’

» ‘Your biggest player, trying to sign for someone else. Question is, what are you going to do about it?

» ‘That’s why you’ve got me. I like making waves.’

» ‘He’s still the man that heard a dying man’s cries and did nothing. The Jury won’t forget that.’

» ‘Mess this up and it gets back to Alan… well, you won’t be forgiven a second time.’

» ‘It never occurred to me to ask for help. Because you can still feel guilt, an overwhelming sense of guilt, even when something isn’t your fault.’

» ‘Well, it’s common knowledge isn’t it. All female barristers drink, shag around or lose cases when they’re pre-menstrual…’

» ‘Barristers are like thoroughbreds, sleek, focussed on winning and utterly selfish.’
