With awards season in full swing and the Academy Award® nominees announced last week, we’ve taken a look back at some of the greatest ‘Best Picture’ award winning films from the last 75 years.

The lucky winner can take a stroll down memory lane with including quintessential Hollywood epics; Gone with the Wind, which won a staggering 10 Academy Awards® in 1940 and Ben Hur, which with 11 Oscars® in 1960, still today holds a joint record for the most Academy Awards for one film. Casablanca, Amadeus, Dances with Wolves, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Unforgiven also won the prestigious ‘Best Picture’ accolade, alongside a raft of other gongs.
