Pompidou
Matt Lucas is Pompidou, an elderly oddball aristocrat who has fallen on hard times.
In a clapped-out old caravan parked in front of his now crumbling estate lives Pompidou, a tubby, pompous, penniless, yet ultimately lovable aristocrat, kept company by his long-serving and loyal butler Hove (Alex Macqueen – The Inbetweeners) and his devoted Afghan Hound Marion. But when there’s no food and no money, or no heat and no money; or no money and no money, what’s a man like Pompidou to do?
Boy Meets Girl
It’s groundbreaking in its presentation of a trans woman who is at the heart of its story.
Leo (Harry Hepple – Holby City) is having a bad day. He’s been fired (again) and is being given a hard time about it by his Mum (Denise Welch – Waterloo Road). And then, to make matters worse, he ends up playing gooseberry to his younger brother on their night out together. Leo’s about to write the day off as one to forget but then he bumps into Judy (Rebecca Root – The Danish Girl) and finds himself deeply attracted to this surprising and beguiling woman.
