Gracepoint, the eagerly anticipated American adaptation of international phenomenon Broadchurch, comes to DVD on Monday 8 June, courtesy of RLJ Entertainment’s Acorn Label.

Starring the inimitable David Tennant as Detective Emmet Carver and Breaking Bad’s Anna Gunn as Detective Ellie Miller, the 10-part slow-burning whodunit is adapted and created by Chris Chibnall, and expands on the critically acclaimed ITV drama, threading new storylines through the gripping narrative.

When Danny, a young boy, is found dead on the beach of a small California seaside town it throws the community into turmoil. Detective Emmet Carver is brought in to head up the case, ruining Ellie Miller’s chance of promotion, and as Danny’s parents begin to grieve their son, the whole community is under suspicion. The two detectives must learn to work together, drawing on their strengths against the odds and within a town that wants to keep its secrets to itself.
