Moving away from the superheroes, a perfect “hero” of another kind would be The Dude himself, The Big Lebowski. The story of a laid bag White Russian drinking bowler who gets mixed up in an extortion plot may at first not seem like the best movie to use for a game. The Big Lebowski slot though is a success because of The Dude himself, played by Jeff Bridges.

 

Scarface

It should come as no surprise that Scarface would be on this list, another much loved character, but for different reasons than The Dude. The famous line from this movie is “The World is Yours” and any game that includes that line will entice any player to try to win big.

 

Gladiator

This list is very action orientated, and it is obvious why when we are looking at games. The Story of Maximus and his quest for revenge is full of drama, and makes for the perfect action movie. One of Russell Crowe’s most iconic roles it comes as no surprise that this movie is one that helped him rise high in the ranks of Hollywood’s best actors.

 

The Mummy

Another movie based in the past, The Mummy may not be Oscar winning material as Gladiator was, but it still makes for a fun time. Featuring not only the rise of The Mummy himself but also all kinds of Egyptian monsters and curses, even though a remake is on its way this is one movie that many fans still remember fondly.

 

The Wizard of Oz

When listing the best movies, even if the focus is with something like slot games, it comes as no surprise really that The Wizard of Oz would make it on this list. The story of Dorothy and her adventure along the Yellow Brick Road is one we’ve all grown up with, making it instantly recognisable to us all.

 

Jurassic Park

Games thrive off action in movies, so what better movie than Jurassic Park to make it onto this list. The story of a Dinosaur theme park where the ancient reptiles take back control of their surroundings is perfect for any game format.
