The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that we will be seeing a star-studded indie film in the future, revealing details about who and what we can expect to see in it.

What’s The Swimming Lesson about?

In the bustling population of Los Angeles, it’s easy to lose your sense of identity. The story follows a single mother who leaves her life behind in the city of angels and moves back home, right back to the house she grew up in. She finds herself at the heart of a custody battle for her autistic child who has a special interest in the ocean but is terrified of swimming. Our protagonist’s father is rough on the outside, his harsh nature hiding the fact he cares deeply for his child and grandchild.

Who’s in it?

The currently announced cast list includes Heidi Gardner (Saturday Night Live) and William H. Macy (Fargo).

Who’s behind it?

The film is a heartfelt project from writer-director Casey Twenter (Rudderless), it will be his solo-feature directorial debut.
