A crew filmed scenes for the Doctor Who festive special with Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson at the graveyard at the Church of St. Mary in Nash Newport, Wales in the late evening of February 14 and early morning hours of February 15.
Setup for the filming began on the church property on February 12. Christmas decorations were placed on a pine tree and white sheeting was laid down for the placement of artificial snow.

Several news outlets published photos of Ncuti Gatwa (the Doctor) and Millie Gibson (Ruby Sunday) filming with the TARDIS in the graveyard.

Filming at the same location continued on the evening of February 15 and is expected to continue the evening of February 16.
Doctor Who will return in November 2023 with three 60th anniversary specials starring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor. In the following festive period, Ncuti Gatwa will star in his first full Doctor Who episode as the Fifteenth Doctor.
