A brand-new teaser has dropped for the latest project from the director behind The Hostel, here’s what we know about it so far:
Coming off the back of Hostel‘s success, Eli Roth has returned with another horror project, this time titled Ice Cream Man. With promises to be scarier than the last project, a teaser trailer has been released alongside other details about the film.
What’s it about?
The story of Eli Roth’s latest project takes place in an idyllic suburban town named Bayleen Bay during the summer. The town encounters an ice cream man who begins to serve the usual summertime treats to children, who eat them without knowing what they’re being lured into. The town descends into madness, and the mysterious motives of the ice cream man changes the dynamic of a perfect neighbourhood for good. Roth revealed that he has been working on this project for over twenty years.

Who’s behind it?
Roth is credited as the director and is listed as a producer alongside Kate Harrison Karman (Thanksgiving), Raj Brinder Singh (John Wick) and Christopher Woodrow (Birdman). Lisa Sepp-Wilson (Challengers) and Wendy Xu (Relay) are listed as co-producers.
When’s it out?
Ice Cream Man will hit screens in theatres on August 7th.
