Death-defying action, sinful villains, and spectacular casino games- we’re served with almost all possibly fantastic scenes in a James Bond movie. But not every Bond movie comes with a casino scene, right?

So, here are five of the best casino scenes from the James Bond movie series till now:

Casino Royale – Poker Scene

Daniel Craig’s best performance as James Bond was witnessed in this movie. Although the other lead characters of the villainous Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) and glamorous Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) were spectacular too.

The movie was high in adrenaline, stunts, acting and lesser on gadgets. This particular poker scene in the film acts as the centrepiece of the movie, with all lead and supporting actors either sitting around the table or spectating the game. The sequence is beautifully shot with each scene hinging viewers’ attention to ramp up the tension perfectly.

Diamonds are Forever (1971): Craps Game

The 7th film of the franchise ‘Diamonds are Forever’ was the last movie when Connery was seen playing the legendary character of James Bond. Although the portrayal of the casino was not up to the mark in the movie, it definitely is one of the most memorable sequences of the movie. You cannot miss the glamorous Plenty O’Toole (Lana Wood) in the scene with her sexy gown besides Sean Connery while they both play craps to win it all. The ‘Whyte House’ Casino in the movie was the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, which was back at that time known as ‘Las Vegas International Hotel’.

Fun fact: This was the only movie in the Bond series where the lead character has played Craps in a Casino. Interested in playing what Bond played! You can experience a live casino online at new casino sites from MobileCasinoKings.com.

Skyfall – Macau Casino

In Skyfall, James Bond (Daniel Craigs) walks into a Macau based floating casino. Bond enters the casino with his suave style on a boat.  The floating dragon casino featured 300 floating lanterns, massive dragon motifs, and beautiful ornate decor. Although Bond doesn’t try his skills on any casino table in the sequence, we’ve included this scene in the list as its spectacular to watch the efforts put in for creating such a brilliant casino set.

Fun fact: The ‘Golden Dragon Casino’ in the movie was created and filmed at Pinewood Studios in the UK.

Casino Royale: Near-Death Scene (Cardiac Arrest)

Oh well! Remember that moment when Bond dies for a minute in Casino Royale!

This casino scene was breathtaking and was amazingly pulled off by Daniel Craig. This sequence is all about lead characters going on at each other head to head for a battle of death. It was the brilliance of poker that kept us connected to the scene and then clinching scene of watching our 007 master being poisoned, dying and then coming back to life.

The World is Not Enough: The X-Ray Glasses Scene

Ever thought why blue-tinted and black framed sunglasses were so trending in 1999? Well, this particular casino scene from The World is Not Enough has the answer to it.

James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) with his god-level coolness enters a casino in vogue and then swiftly wears his x-ray glasses (courtesy: Q) to scan people with guns and knives. It turns out all the hot ladies and grumpy men had weapons attached to their base clothing layer.

To create an effect of Bond looking through X-ray glasses, all the actors were initially filmed with their regular costumes, then again the same scenes were shot the next time wearing special dresses to reveal the shapes of knives and guns underneath translucent clothing. Later, both of these scenes were matted together.

Keeping physics aside, this particular scene persisted in being one of the favourite scenes of the movie.
