TV has really contributed a lot to the world. Most people today just see it as a means of entertainment. The 2006 hit Casino Royale was already going to do great things for TV because it would be the first time that Daniel Craig would grace the role, but the show also offered one of the most dramatic and well-acted scenes of the series. This was the scene when Craig goes head to head with the villainous Le Chiffre in a high stakes Texas Hold’em game. What made the whole thing even better was that the scene was actually filmed at the renowned Casino Royale.

 

Rain Man

 

TV has and will always be a great means of awareness. It can be used to make people more aware of others and situations around them. For instance, Rain Man brought huge awareness of autism. It not only showed how the disease affects the individual, but how it affects those around them. The show had a lot of great touchy moments, but the most memorable has to be when Charlie realizes that he can use his brother’s infallible memory to count cards.

 

The Hangover

 

No one ever thought the Hangover was going to do what it did for TV, but it surprised everyone. This is probably why the show is still one of the highest-grossing comedies in the United States.
