There’s more torture to come for Miss Addams. Lucky us!
With a collective sigh of relief from its legion of fans, Netflix has confirmed Wednesday season 2.
Despite the show breaking viewing records for the streamer, the recommission seemed to take a little time, prompting speculation that it could potentially shift home to Prime Video. It appears that won’t be the case however, with Netflix dropping confirmation via social media.

Talking to Netflix’s Tudum, showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar said:
“We can’t wait to dive headfirst into another season and explore the kooky, spooky world of Nevermore. We just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.”
They also added:
“It’s been incredible to create a show that’s connected with people across the world. We’re thrilled to continue Wednesday’s torturous journey into Season 2.”
That connection is not just in direct views as the show’s score has topped the iTunes Soundtrack chart, as well as Wednesday’s dance becoming a viral sensation too. In addition to its being jumped on by Lady Gaga, the moves also inspired an ice dance by Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva.
