Rob Lowe and Liv Tyler take 9-1-1 to Texas…

Fox is expanding 9-1-1 in the new year with a brand-new spinoff series that will relocate the action to Texas.

Rob Lowe (Wild Bill) and Liv Tyler (The Leftovers) lead the cast of 9-1-1: Lone Star, with Lowe playing Owen Strand, “a Manhattan firefighter who relocates to Austin to help rebuild a fractured firehouse. As the only survivor of his own station on Sept. 11, Owen is familiar with the rebuilding process. Owen projects an image of big-city style and swagger, but he struggles with a secret he hides from the world — one that could very well end his life.” Tyler stars as Michelle Blake, “a chief paramedic haunted by the disappearance of her sister”.

9-1-1: Lone Star will premiere on 20th January, 2020 in the US. No UK date has been announced yet.
