The iconic horror anthology continues its legendary run, more details have come out about the latest season of American Horror Story:

The recent announcements around the upcoming season of the beloved and fearfully revered pop-culture hit has given even more buzz around the property. Cast details and story hints have been released to a keenly waiting audience.

What’s this season of American Horror Story about?

Although AHS is known for keeping plot details under tight wraps in order to reveal the season’s theme with great pizzazz, there have been hints as to what to expect to see happen this season. Twisty the Clown and Paul the Illustrated Seal will be making a comeback from the Freak Show season, joined by Joe the Doorman – old characters will be migrating into a potentially more eclectic world which can accommodate them all without breaking the strict world of the previously more succinct themes such as Hotel and Coven.

This season of AHS will star John Carroll Lynch (Ballard), Mena Suvari (American Beauty), Matt Fraser (Gangs of London), Berto Colón (The Night Agent), Ariana Grande (Scream Queens), Sarah Paulson (Bird Box), Evan Peters (The Beauty), Angela Bassett (9-1-1), Kathy Bates (Matlock), Jessica Lange (Cape Fear), Emma Roberts (Scream 4), Billie Lourd (The Last Showgirl), Gabourey Sidibe (Precious), John Waters (Hairspray) and Leslie Grossman (The Good Place).

When’s it out?

This season is set to release this September on FX.
