The Artful Dodger returns in February, and you can watch the trailer for season 2 now

Disney+ has confirmed The Artful Dodger season 2 will stream from February 10, with all 8 episodes dropping together. This new season promises more high-stakes, humour, heart, and deception than ever, as chaos descends on Port Victory.

What is season 2 of The Artful Dodger about, and who stars

The Artful Dodger returns, and he’s in deep trouble. He’s got an appointment with the noose, he’s being hunted by new lawman, Inspector Boxer, and if he sees the woman he loves, Lady Belle, he’ll be hanged. Meanwhile, Belle is determined to forge her future in medicine, driven by ambition and a love already hanging in the balance. With Boxer competing with Jack for Belle’s affection, the crafty Fagin drags him into their most dangerous heist yet, and a killer is on the loose.

The series, co-created by James McNamara and inspired by Oliver Twist, stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Jack Dawkins aka The Artful Dodger, David Thewlis as Fagin and Maia Mitchell as Lady Belle Fox. Season two adds Luke Bracey as Inspector Henry Boxer, Jeremy Sims as Uncle Dickie, and Zac Burgess as Phineas Golden.

Returning are Susie Porter as Lady Jane Fox, Damien Garvey as Governor Fox, Tim Minchin back as Darius Cracksworth, Lucy-Rose Leonard as Lady Fanny Fox and more.
