Julian Fellowes follows up Downton Abbey with this new drama for ITV…
ITV has offered up a first trailer for Julian Fellowes’ new series, Belgravia. Fellowes chose to follow up his runaway hit show Downton Abbey with yet another period-set drama.
Belgravia stars Tamsin Greig, Harriet Walter and Alice Eve, and ITV says it is a story of “secrets and dishonour amongst the upper echelon of London society in the 19th Century.” It’ll premiere sometime in 2020, though no official air date has been announced yet.
Per ITV:
“When the Trenchards accept an invitation to the now legendary ball hosted by the Duchess of Richmond on the fateful evening of the Battle of Waterloo, it sets in motion a series of events that will have consequences for decades to come as secrets unravel behind the porticoed doors of London’s grandest postcode.”
