If you’ve not seen it since it was shown on the BBC, good news — Blake’s 7 is coming to Forces TV

So far we’ve only seen this confirmed via Twitter (@Forces_TV), so we don’t know how many series it will be, nor do we have a precise date. Here’s the tweet:

The show was last broadcast in the early 1980s, but since then has been revived on audio and Big Finish also reunited original cast members in its popular Blake’s 7 range (and we’ve plenty of reviews, such as this one).

The show has been available via Britbox (where it has just become available to Canadian audiences, we believe) but this new announcement means it will be free to air in the UK. While some of the sets are dated, the stories are often excellent, and the final episode grabbed massive audience attention. It was the brainchild of Terry Nation, creator of the Daleks and also the 1970s Survivor series.
