Despite it being a long while since Breaking Bad wrapped up its mighty story, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that a new movie of sorts is on its way…
Details are incredibly slim at the moment but Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan is allegedly at work on a new two-hour movie. Whether that will include Bryan Cranston or Aaron Paul remains to be seen and important facts like whether it’s going to be a sequel or prequel are also unknown.
Gilligan is said to be writing, executive producing and possibly directing the film, with production starting this month in New Mexico. The rumoured title is Greenbrier and the New Mexico Film Office confirms that a project of this same name will commence work this month.
Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul executive producers Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein are allegedly on board, too.
Whether the movie will be a small screen or cinema release remains to be seen but we’ll keep you updated either way.
