Sky and FX have confirmed a fourth season of Breeders, their fractious family comedy.
We’ve only just had series 3 land this month in the UK, but Sky have broken the news that they have commissioned a fourth season of Breeders. This comes in conjunction with US network FX.
The comedy, which follows the Worsley family, stars Martin Freeman (Sherlock, The Responder) and Daisy Haggard (Back to Life).
The wider cast includes Alex Eastwood, Eve Prenelle, Stella Gonet, Alun Armstrong and Joanna Bacon.
Of the recommission, Zai Bennett, MD of Content at Sky UK & Ireland, says:
“This uniquely honest and hilariously entertaining comedy about the pitfalls of parenting really strikes a chord with UK audiences. It’s fabulous news that we can announce Season 4 before audiences get to watch Season 3 on Sky later this month. We’re in for a treat and thanks to Avalon and FX for continuing our partnership to see what’s next for the Worsley family.”
We’re not sure when this quote was uttered; Sky began airing Breeders S3 on Wednesday 13th July, with all ten episodes available on demand.
