Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth

Cliff Booth movie pushes Narnia out of its IMAX slot

The upcoming project from Fincher and Tarantino is gearing up to be a big one, here’s what we know about Cliff Booth:

Taking over Narnia’s theatrical run in IMAX theatres later this autumn, recent announcements about the film has revealed what to expect to see from the spin-off special.

What’s Cliff Booth about?

Although there’s been a great degree of secrecy around the details of the film’s plot, the log-line teases a seismic shift in the scenery. It’s been said that the film takes place in a “very different Hollywood”, no doubt shaken up by the previous events in the film’s world. The source material for this project, Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, took place in the late 60’s, with events taking place against the daunting backdrop of the Manson family murders. With the next film taking place in 1977, times certainly will have changed.

Who’s in it?

Brad Pitt (F1) will be reprising his titular role, he’ll be starring alongside Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), Scott Caan (Ocean’s Eleven), Carla Gugino (The Haunting of Hill House), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Wonder Man), Peter Weller (Naked Lunch), Matt Groove, JB Tadena (The Cleaning Lady), Corey Fogelmanis (Ma) and Karren Karagulian (Anora).

When’s it out?

The film will hit IMAX theatres for a two-week run from 25th November, before hitting Netflix on December 23rd this year.
