Sookie is left reeling from the shocking revelations about her heritage and the real reason why her vampire boyfriend Bill first sought a relationship with her. After being betrayed by Bill, vengeful vampire Eric escalates their enduring feud, vowing to claim Sookie as his own. Elsewhere, Jason learns that no good deed goes unpunished, Sam discovers other shape-shifters, Tara has moved away from Bon Temps and Lafayette becomes acquainted with a group of powerful witches.
