The BBC has released a new clip from tonight’s season opener of Doctor Who – although, to be honest, we’d really recommend you wait until the episode to watch this scene.

Introducing Pearl Mackie as new companion Bill, ‘The Pilot’ airs at 7.20pm this evening on BBC One.

The official synopsis reads: “A chance encounter with a girl with a star in her eye leads to a terrifying chase across time and space. Bill’s mind is opened to a Universe that is bigger and more exciting than she could possibly have imagined – but who is the Doctor, and what is his secret mission with Nardole on Earth?”
