A cult classic film is about to get an episodic follow-up as the adaptation has been given the thumbs up, here’s the latest on Clueless:

One of the classic chick-flick films which would be in the rotation of any good sleepover will now be making its foray into the world of the series. The newest release of info has given hints to what fans and newcomers can expect to see.

What’s the Clueless series about?

Intended to be a follow-up to the feature film from 1995, the story will rejoin the beloved protagonist in a more contemporary setting. Picking up thirty years after where the film leaves off, our protagonist is successful in pretty much every way possible. She’s on track to be the best mother ever until a familiar obstacle rears its head – high school. Being the supermom to a child is one thing, trying to keep up with a teenage daughter in the modern age is totally another.

Alicia Silverstone (Bugonia) will be reprising her original lead role, with other roles yet to be announced to the public.
