Crá series 2 has started filming with new faces joining the show
Filming has commenced on the second series of the Irish language crime drama, produced by Fíbín Media and Zoogon Ltd for BBC Gaeilge and TG4, it was the first Irish Language crime drama to air on BBC One Northern Ireland, BBC iPlayer and BBC Four. Sold to 68 countries and streaming under the international title Boglands, Crá has proven popular with audiences around the world.
What do we know about Crá series 2

Series one concluded with Garda Conall Ó Súilleabháin (Dónall Ó Héalaí) discovering the truth about what happened to his mother Sabine whose body was found mysteriously buried in a bog. In series two, the personal and professional lives of law enforcers who are operating in a lawless borderland are explored as Conall, now a trainee detective, must confront his past to secure his future.
Returning for this six-part series are Dónall Ó Héalaí (Hidden Assets, Foscadh), Alex Murphy (The Young Offenders) as Barry, Hannah Brady (Soulm8te) as Ciara-Kate, and Colm Mac Giolla Easbuic (Ros na Rún) as Iarla. New names joining the cast include Siobhán O’Kelly (Mix Tape), Lochlann Ó Mearáin (Mr Loverman, The Head), Art Parkinson (Aontas, Say Nothing), Aoife Nic Ardghail (Casual) and Tony Devlin (Say Nothing). Further cast details for series two will be released in due course.
Series two is currently filming in Gaoth Dobhair, County Donegal.
